Mr. Mark Boyer has over twenty-five years of corporate and military experience. He is a highly decorated  military veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mark is a retired United States Army Special Forces Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO). While on active duty he specialized in force protection working in various countries throughout Asia, Africa and the Middle East to include the Philippines, Kenya,  Iraq and Afghanistan.


As a US Special Forces Team Leader, Mark led several operations against the terrorist group “Abu Sayaff” in the Philippine Islands. He served as the liaison between the Governor of Mindanao and the US Special Operations Forces. In Africa he worked with the Kenyan military against insurgents. While serving as Senior Weapons NCO,  Mark led a specialized strike force against high value targets (Al-Qaeda) in the Hindu Kush mountain range of Afghanistan.


Mark played a key role in the selection, training, and leading of a one hundred eighty man Afghan Security Force which operated against the Taliban in the Hindu Kush. In 2007, Mark led an elite US Army Special Forces Team in the rescue of several reporters from enemy hands. His team also thwarted a vehicle ambush near the residence of the Prime Minister of Iraq.


Upon retirement from the military, Mark worked as Regional Security Manager (RSM)  for one of the largest US defense contractors, conducting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He coordinated air transportation and force protection for civilian workers, US and Coalition Military Forces, Non-Governmental Organizations and other government agencies conducting humanitarian and economic assistance operations.


Mark is a recipient of numerous decorations and awards which include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (5 awards), Army Achievement Medal (6 awards) and the Joint Special Operations Commendation.


Mark holds the Special Forces Tab, Master Parachutist Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Airborne Tab, Air Mobile Tab and the Republic of Korea Ranger Tab. He is fluent in the “Pastu” and “Tagalog” languages.
